Zero and his classmates are assigned their own Pro-Ings and, to help them get used to piloting them, are each paired up with one of the top-five candidates at G.O.A. and assigned to two-on-two battles. Zero is paired with Erts Virny Cocteau, the top of the top, and the two of them become good friends. During their battle with Clay and Aracd Narocke, Zero has a strange vision involving… Kizna!?
